Coronado is located on Panama's Pacific coast, and was Panama's original weekend and resort development. It is located just about an hour from Panama City down Panama's well maintained InterAmerican highway.
Many people live and vacation in this area because of its beautiful beaches, year round warm and inviting climate, relatively low cost of living, and amenities such as a full service grocery store, a variety of restaurants, pharmacies, medical and vetrinary clinics, hardware stores, banks, outdoor markets, and overall infrastructure.
The Coronado Golf Resort features an 18 hole golf course designed by Tom Fazio, one of the world's Top Ranked Golf Course designers in the world. The resort also features professional tennis courts, a full service spa, outdoor swimming pool, gardens, jacuzzis, four restaurants, four bars, a conference center, and more. There is even a newly built Equestrian center and club that has world class equine facilities, with air conditioned stalls.
The beaches in Coronado are well maintained, and are typically a mix of white and volcanic sand. The beaches have several point breaks nearby Coronado for surfing and body boarding, with nearby world-class Kite Surfing.
There are many spectacular single family homes in Coronado, within the Golf Resort, and inside of the gated community area. There are also several new condo projects taking shape, which will be ready to deliver in 2009.
Within an hour's drive from Coronado, tourists and residents have access to nearby Panama City, El Valle, Farallon, National Parks, and other points of interest, making it a lively hub of activity and a strong investment location.
