San Carlos is a small beach town located just fifteen minutes down the road from Coronado on the main InterAmerican Highway. It is an area that has been a top real estate investment, retirement and vacation hub recently, for its privacy but proximity to the bigger town of Coronado nearby.
The sand on the beaches here is a mix of volcanic and white sand and the beaches, especially during the week, are quite private and pristine.
