Sora is a peaceful and beautiful community up in the mountains, with sweeping views of green valleys and the Pacific ocean in the distance. The climate is very fresh and cool, with an average temperature of 75 degrees Farenheit year round.
Several residential developments are available in this area, with the largest and most well known being Altos de Maria, a large planned residential development community with hiking trails, and a large expat community. Other developments are also forming such as Bavaria and Altos Escondidos, an ecological community in line to recieve Panama's first plaitnum LEED certification.
You can get to Sora directly off of the InterAmerican highway about 45 minutes from Panama City, then continue up the mountain for another 20-25 minutes. Within 30 minutes of Sora, you can be at the Pacific beaches, or the nearby beach town of Coronado.
This spectacular location is a favorite for many expats who enjoy a cool climate year round for hiking, patios, flower and orchid gardens, and general enjoyment and relaxation.
